How to Pair Your Skullcandy Earbuds

To pair your Skullcandy earbuds to your device, you’ll first need to place your earbuds in pairing mode. Next, go to your device’s Bluetooth list, select your Skullcandy earbuds, and then click on ‘Connect’ to complete the pairing process. 

The first thing you’ll need to know is that the pairing process will vary depending on which model of Skullcandy earbuds you own. Simply follow the pairing instructions below for your specific earbud model.

Indy True Wireless:

First-time pairing

Remove your earbuds from the case, then place them back in; your earbuds will then turn red. Close the charging case, and now open the lid and remove your earbuds from the case. Your device will now automatically be in pairing mode.

How to enter pairing mode manually

There may be instances where your earbuds don’t enter pairing mode automatically. If this is the case, you can manually set it to pairing mode. Here’s how:

  • Press & hold the button behind both earbuds until they begin to flash (around 4 seconds).

Sesh True Wireless:

First-time pairing

Remove your earbuds from the case, then place them back in; your earbuds will then turn red. Close the charging case, and now open the lid and remove your earbuds from the case. Your device will now automatically be in pairing mode.

How to enter pairing mode manually

  • Press & hold both buttons behind each earbud until they start to blink. (Around 6 seconds).

Take both earbuds out of the case, and make sure they’re turned off. Now press and hold the left main function button on your earbud for 7 seconds. Your earbuds will then begin to flash, indicating that they are in pairing mode.

How to enter pairing mode manually

  • Ensure your earbuds are turned on
  • Press either earbud once and then press it again and hold for one second.
  • Both earbuds should now enter pairing mode.
  • A voice prompt will appear saying, “Ready to Pair”
  • Both earbuds will flash red and blue, indicating that they are now in pairing mode.

The first thing you’ll need to do is remove both earbuds from the charging case and remove all stickers in the case’s charging points. Now place your earbuds back in the case. Your earbuds’ LEDs should now turn red. Next, remove your earbuds from the case. This will automatically place them in pairing mode, now go to your device’s Bluetooth list and select your Skullcandy Mod earbuds.

Multi-Point Pairing

Multi-point pairing is a feature available on the Mod True wireless, which allows you to pair two devices at once, allowing you to manage the connection between the two seamlessly. Here’s how to do it:

  • Once you’re already connected to your first device, press either earbud one time and press it again, and hold for one second.
  • Your device should now be in pairing mode. Select your earbuds from your source device’s Bluetooth list to complete the connection.

How to Fix Only One Earbud Connecting

  1. “Forget” your Skullcandy earbuds on the device that you would like to connect to as well as any previously connected device (Phone, laptop, tablet..etc.)
  2. Turn off Bluetooth from the device you’d like to connect to.
  3. Now turn your earbuds on (your earbuds will not be paired since your device’s Bluetooth is turned off)
  4. Click not the center of search earbud four times. This will reset and power off your earbuds. (it’s important that this is done when the buds are not connected to your device)
  5. Place your earbuds back in the case, and close the lid.
  6. Your earbuds should now begin to pair with one another.
  7. A beep will notify you that both earbuds have successfully paired with one another.
  8. Turn Bluetooth back on from your device, and begin the pairing process to reconnect to your device.

How To Pair Skullcandy Headphones

  1. While your headphones are off, press and hold the power on button for 6 seconds
  2. Your device will then begin to flash, indicating that it is now in pairing mode.
  3. Go to your Bluetooth settings on your device (Phone, laptop, tablet…etc.)
  4. Select your Skullcandy headphones, and that’s it! Your headphones will now be paired to your device.

Skullcandy Headphones Not Pairing: (Solutions)

There may be occasions when you may experience the occasional pairing issue. There are a few solutions to this:

  1. Ensure devices are at a reasonable distance from one another: when pairing
  2. Soft reset both your devices: Simply turn off both devices to clear away bugs and re-connect them once again.
  3. Turn off or unpair any device that was previously paired to your device: If you have paired one of your speakers or any other Bluetooth devices to your current device, then chances are your device is trying to find a connection for that particular device. Unpairing the device or turning it off can resolve this issue.
