Is Haikyu!! on Hulu?

Based on the popular manga series of the same name, Haikyu is an anime about the members of a boy’s volleyball team. It’s got a bit of everything, from comedy to action to drama. If you’ve thought about checking the show out, you might be wondering if Haikyu is on Hulu.

Currently, Haikyu isn’t available to watch on Hulu, but there are still plenty of other places to view the series. All four seasons are available on Crunchyroll, and you can find seasons 1-3 are available on VRV. The third season of Haikyu is available on HIDIVE. 

If you’re a big fan of Haikyu, you’ll want to make sure you’re able to watch every single episode. Even though you can’t find this sports anime on Hulu, there are still plenty of ways for you to enjoy the show. 

Is Haikyu Dubbed on Crunchyroll?

Even though the first four seasons of Haikyu have been dubbed, the dub isn’t available on Crunchyroll. You can only watch the anime in Japanese with English subtitles. The same thing is true on VRV. 

The Haikyu dub is available on HIDIVE, but you can only watch the third season of the show. If you’ve already seen the first two seasons of the dub on Hulu, this might be the best place to continue watching the series.  

How Many Seasons Does Haikyu Have?

There are currently four seasons and 73 episodes of Haikyu. There are also five original video animations (OVAs) revolving around the show’s characters. All of these OVAs are available to watch on Crunchyroll. 

While there are also four Haikyu movies, these movies don’t include new storylines. Instead, the films sum up the events of the show’s first three seasons. Most of the footage in the movies is the same footage seen in the show. 

With that said, there are a few new scenes in each movie. If you’re dying to see more of Haikyu, or if you want to introduce a friend to the series, the movies could be a solid option. 

Will There Be a Fifth Season of Haikyu?

Since season 4 of Haikyu ends with a cliffhanger, it’s safe to assume that the anime will have at least one more season. However, season 5 of Haikyu has not been officially announced. 

Season 4 of Haikyu was split into two halves, and the second half of the season was delayed. It’s safe to assume that these delays have pushed back season 5 as well. It’s likely that season 5 will receive an official announcement when its release date is closer. 

Where Can You Watch the Haikyu Movies?

Two Haikyu movies, Battle of Concepts and Talent and Sense, can be streamed on Crunchyroll. The first two Haikyu movies, The End and the Beginning and Winners and Losers, are not currently available on any streaming services. It’s possible that these movies will be added to the Crunchyroll or HIDIVE libraries in the future.

Where Can You Read the Haikyu Manga?

Haikyu is based on a manga by Haruichi Furudate. The manga, which has 45 volumes and 402 chapters, finished its run in 2020. You can read the entire series on VIZ.

The story in the manga goes beyond what’s been covered in the anime. If you’re dying to know what happens next in Haikyu, and you can’t wait for season 5, you can jump into the manga and continue the story. 

Can You Watch Haikyu for Free?

You can watch Haikyu for free with ads on Crunchyroll and VRV. If you want to see the show without ads, you’ll need a subscription. Thankfully, all of the platforms that are streaming Haikyu have free trials.

You can read the first few chapters of the Haikyu manga for free on VIZ, but if you want to read past that point, you’ll need a subscription. If you’re curious about Haikyu, and you want to see if it lives up to the hype, you can check it out without any risk.

Kuroko’s Basketball

This addictive sports anime follows five middle school basketball stars as they enter high school. While it revolves around basketball and not volleyball, it feels very similar to Haikyu. Kuroko’s Basketball is available to watch on Netflix.

Ace of Diamond

When a young baseball player is scouted by a prestigious high school, he thinks it’s the perfect chance to improve his skills. However, he finds himself surrounded by talented players and facing off against stiff competition. You can stream Ace of Diamond on Crunchyroll.

Run With the Wind

Kakeru was once a star track player, but he’s since fallen on hard times. When another student at his university sees him running, he winds up getting swept back into the sport. Run With the Wind is available on Crunchyroll and VRV.

Ahiru no Sora

Sora is a talented basketball player, but his short stature has always held him back. He decides to revive the basketball club at his new school so that he can share his passion for the game. You can watch Ahiru no Sora on Crunchyroll.


MIX follows two step-brothers that are determined to take their high school basketball team to nationals. Although this is a sequel to a baseball anime from the 1980s, you’ll have no problems following the series if you start here. MIX is available to stream on Hulu.
