If you’ve recently gotten your hands on a new pair of Powerbeats Pro, you’re probably eager to test them out.

One of the first things you’re going to need to know is how to charge your earbuds; we’ll also walk you through how to troubleshoot any charging issues, how to use your Powerbeats Pro’s shortcut control features as well as answer a few questions your probably wondering about. Let’s dive in!

How To Charge Your Powerbeats Pro

With true wireless earbuds like the Powerbeats Pro, there are two things that will need to be charged. The case & the earbuds themselves.

To charge the earbuds, place them in the case and ensure they’re placed correctly in the charging magnet. When your earbuds are placed in the case, the LED light will flash white for a few seconds. If the LED light turns red when earbuds are in the case, this indicates that your Case battery is below 40%.

To charge your case, simply plug in the provided charging cable to a power outlet & to your case.

Once you pair your earbuds to your iPhone, your iPhone will instantly display the battery life of your earbuds and case. You’ll also be able to see your earbud’s individual battery life and if one isn’t charging.

Powerbeats Pro Not Charging?

Like with all devices, there may be an instance where you notice both or one of your earbuds not charging. The most common reason for this issue is that they’re either not placed correctly in the magnetic charging pins or one of your earbud’s ear hooks are interfering with the second earbud, pulling it away from the charging port when closing the case.

If that doesn’t solve your issue, you can reset your device. To do this:

Place both earbuds in the case. Leave the case open.
Press and hold the button on the case for 15 seconds, until the LED indicator light flashes red and white
Then release the system button.

your device should now be reset; close the charging case and check your device (Phone, tablet…etc.) to see if they’re charging.

Can You Charge Your Powerbeats Pro Without The Case?

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to charge your Powerbeats pro without the case. In some cases, if you’ve damaged your case, you will be able to get it repaired for free with your warranty. However, if your warranty doesn’t cover damages, you can purchase the case separately, but it will cost $99.

What Do The Buttons Do On The Powerbeats Pro?

One of the most beneficial feature of true wireless earbuds is its quick access functionality, providing you with the ability to answer calls, skip tracks, access your voice assistant without the need to pull out your device.

Let’s take a look at all its shortcut features.

Play/Pause

There are two ways you can pause your Powerbeats Pro; the first method is to simply tap the beats logo button once; tapping the button once more will play your track. Additionally, removing one of your earbuds will pause your music, removing both earbuds will stop the music, and putting your earbuds back on will resume your track.

Skip/Rewind

You can quickly skip your track by pressing the beats logo button twice. To play the previous track, all you would need to do is press the beats logo three times.

Volume Control

There are volume controls located on both earbuds, you can easily control the volume on one, and it will adjust the volume for both earbuds.

Answer Calls

To answer calls simply press either of the beats logo buttons. To reject an incoming call, simply press and hold the beats logo button for one second.

Activate Siri

You can activate Siri through voice command by simply saying “Hey Siri” or by pressing and holding the Beats logo button until your head Siri’s activation chime.

Can You Charge Powerbeats Pro Wirelessly?

The Powerbeats Pro does not support wireless charging, so a lightning charging cable is the only way to charge your Powerbeats Pro case.

Can You Pair Powerbeats Pro Without The Case?

Powerbeats Pro can’t be paired to your device without the case. The only exception is if your earbuds happen to disconnect from your previously paired device, and have been kept outside the case, then simply selecting your Powerbeats Pro on your device may re-pair your earbuds to your device.

How Long Do Power Beats Last?

The Powerbeats Pro earbuds have a battery life of 9 hours each. You can get up to 24 hours of battery life with the charging case.

As for how long it takes to charge your earbuds, it takes around 90 minutes to fully charge your earbuds and around 2.5 hours to fully charge the case.

Can You charge Your Powerbeats Overnight?

Yes, since the Powerbeats Pro case is equipped with a Lithium-Ion battery, it will stop charging once the battery is fully charged. So there should be no issues with leaving your case Plugged in overnight.
