How To Connect Galaxy Buds To Samsung TV:
The pairing process varies slightly depending on how new/old your Samsung TV is: Here is how to pair your Galaxy Buds with all models of Samsung TV’s, locate your TVs model, and follow the process:
R,N, & M Model Samsung TVs (2019,2018, 2017 Models)
- Put your Galaxy buds in your ears.
- Tap and hold both earbuds’ touchpads to put your earbuds in pairing mode. A sound will appear indicating your device is now in pairing mode.
- On your Samsung TV, go to Home
- Click on Settings
- Select Sound > Sound Output > Bluetooth Speaker List
- Now Select your Galaxy Buds from the list to connect to your TV
K Model Samsung TVs (2016 Models)
- Put your Galaxy buds in your ears.
- Tap and hold both earbuds’ touchpads to put your earbuds in pairing mode. A sound will appear indicating your device is now on pairing mode
- On your Samsung TV, go to Home
- Select Settings
- Click on Sound > Expert Settings > Wireless Speaker Manager > Bluetooth Audio Devices
- Now Select your Galaxy Buds from the list to connect to your TV
J Model Samsung TVs (2015 Models)
- Put your Galaxy buds in your ears.
- Tap and hold both earbuds’ touchpads to put your earbuds in pairing mode. A sound will appear indicating your device is now in pairing mode.
- On your Samsung TV, go to Menu
- Click on Sound > Additional Settings > Bluetooth Audio
- Now Select your Galaxy Buds from the list to connect to your TV
H Model Samsung TVs (2014 Models)
- Put your Galaxy buds in your ears.
- Tap and hold both earbuds’ touchpads to put your earbuds in pairing mode. A sound will appear indicating your device is now in pairing mode.
- On your Samsung TV, go to Menu.
- Click on Sound > Speaker Settings > TV Sound Output > Bluetooth Headphone
- Now Select your Galaxy Buds from the list to connect to your TV.
How do I Know if my Samsung TV Supports Bluetooth?
You can check if your Samsung TV is equipped with Bluetooth functionality by simply going to Settings > Sound > Sound Output. If you see Bluetooth Speaker List, then your TV is equipped with Bluetooth functionality.
What To Do If Your TV Doesn’t Bluetooth
Almost all Samsung TVs are equipped with Bluetooth; however, if you have a rather old Samsung TV, then fear not, you will still be able to connect your Galaxy Buds to your TV, but you will need a Bluetooth adapter.
To connect your Samsung Galaxy buds to your TV through a Bluetooth transmitter:
- Plugin your Bluetooth transmitter to your TV through an AUX or Digital Optical port.
- Put your device in pairing mode by placing the earbuds in your ears, then tap and hold both earbuds’ touchpads. The earbuds will enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Put your Bluetooth adapter into Bluetooth Pairing mode.
- Your device will then connect to your TV.
Can Galaxy Buds Connect to Two Devices at Once?
With the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus, you will be able to connect to multiple devices at once and seamlessly switch from one device to the other by simply playing a song/ video. Your device will automatically output the sound of the second device that was played while the first device will automatically pause. (This feature is only available on the Galaxy Buds Plus).
Can Galaxy Buds Charge Wirelessly?
Yes, both the Galaxy Buds case & the Galaxy Buds Plus case feature wireless charging compatibility, so you’ll be able to charge your Galaxy buds through a wireless charger or through a phone or device which features wireless charging capabilities.
