It is the main way that many customers view their live and recorded video feeds, and is extremely easy to use and maneuver through.
Go to the app store, and type “Blink Home Monitor” into the search feed. Download the app with the proper logo, the white “b” on a blue background. The app is free to download, so there should be no problems in getting it onto your phone.
2. Make sure that your Wi-Fi is enabled and connected
Next, you’re going to need to make sure you have a strong internet connection. Your Blink camera will connect to your smart devices (including your phone) using your home’s wifi network. If the connection is not strong enough, you will not receive a video feed or audio from your Blink camera.
The camera needs your internet to have an upload speed of 2mb per second or faster in order to work properly.
3. Accessing Live View
After making sure your internet is stable and strong, you can open up your app. Upon opening the app, provided your account is properly set up, you should get a view of all of your active cameras. Let’s say you want to take a look at the camera placed at your front door.
On your home page, scroll to the camera feed for your front door. It will have a name that you gave it, along with a still image of what the camera usually sees. In the bottom left corner of this image, there is a camera icon.

In order to activate the camera’s audio, simply tap the speaker icon. This will turn on the audio. From here, you can use your phone’s volume control to adjust the volume of the audio you receive.
On the other hand, you can also use the app to speak through your phone and have anyone on the other side of the camera hear it. In order to do this, find the “talk” button. It is a rather large circle near the bottom left corner of your screen.
Tap and hold this talk button to broadcast your voice to the speaker. Make sure to hold the button down the entire time, and speak clearly and deliberately so that anyone on the other side hears exactly what you’re saying.
