Design

Both the Echo Show 5 & 8 have a tilted design since they were specifically designed to have on your nightstand. Whereas the Echo Show 10 is designed to be used as your personal assistant throughout the day. It’s equipped with a large screen and a rotating base that follows your movement allowing you to communicate with your device without having to constantly move the screen.

Display

When it comes to display sizes Echo show features a 5.5-inch screen, Echo Show 8 features an 8-inch screen, & the Echo Show 10 features a 10.1-inch screen. The difference in sizes is quite significant so depending on your needs it’s important to factor in size as it does affect user experience. Secondly, when it comes to resolution there the Echo Show 8 & Echo Show 10 both feature a 1,280 x 800 screen this is not full HD but still delivers a decent option for watching video content. Whereas the Echo Show 5 features 960 x 480 resolution on a smaller screen, so if you will be watching content on your Echo Show device, then the Echo Show 8 or 10 will be better suited to your needs.

Sound Quality

When it comes to sound quality the clear winner is the Echo Show 10 by far, it’s equipped with a 2.1 system: two stereo 1-inch tweeters and a 3-inch woofer. The Echo Show 8 speakers do deliver great sounds as well but the Echo Show 10 is the clear winner.
